The Midland Grand Hotel officially opened on 5 May 1873 and was renowned as one of the most advanced hotels of the Victorian era, setting new standards for luxury and innovation. Designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, the original Gothic hotel now forms the Chambers Wing of St. Pancras London.

Today’s Chambers Club was originally the Refreshment Room, located on the ground floor beside the Booking Office 1869. It later became a private lounge reserved exclusively for guests staying in the Chambers Wing. Now available for meetings and events, the space retains its original Victorian architecture, ornate detailing, rich interiors and distinctive sense of grandeur.

Chambers Club provides an elegant and versatile setting for corporate meetings, private receptions, celebrations and creative events. Experiences can be tailored to each occasion, with bespoke menus, canapés, drinks receptions and dedicated event service available to complement the space.

Its historic character, central London location and calm atmosphere create a memorable backdrop for both business and social gatherings. The Chambers Club is also offered for private Afternoon Tea experiences at St. Pancras London, featuring finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, seasonal pastries and a selection of fine teas, with the option to add Laurent-Perrier Champagne.
